Lisa Modrick has been in the Travel and Tourism Industry since 1993. She is the President of Modrick's Travel in business for 20 years.  Lisa has achieved numerous awards and honors, including the State of South Dakota Governor’s Service Award. Lisa is a local expert on cruises, having personally sailed on over 50 cruises, including Princess, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Holland America and Windstar! Lisa is a Certified Specialist in the following areas:

Lisa is currently the President of the Rapid City Regional Airport Board. She also is a Past President of the Rapid City Convention and Visitors Bureau, Rapid City Regional Hospital Advisory Council, Mount Rushmore Road Group and is the current Treasurer, and is Past President of the Zonta Club of the Black Hills. 

She has been married to Mike Modrick since 1989, and they love living in Rapid City!

Mike Modrick, Vice President

Mike Modrick has been in the Travel Industry since 1993. Mike is a recipient of the State of South Dakota Governor’s Service Award. Mike is also an expert on cruises, having personally sailed on over 50 cruises, including Carnival, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Holland America and Windstar! Mike is a Meteorologist with KOTA-TV and provides Travel Weather Consulting. Mike is a Certified Specialist in the following areas:

Cathy Laurenti, Manager

Cathy has over 20 years of experience in the Travel Industry and has been with Modrick's Travel since 1998. Cathy is a Specialist in many areas, including Cruises, Mexico, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Europe, Africa, Asia, Disneyworld, Disneyland and the National Finals Rodeo. Cathy has sailed on Carnival, Princess and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Cathy is a Certified Specialist in the following areas:

Melinda Mansfield

Melinda has been with Modrick's Travel since 2004. Melinda specializes in Cruises, Mexico, Hawaii, Las Vegas and National Finals Rodeo, Sporting Events and NASCAR, Disneyworld, Disneyland, Europe, Tahiti, Wedding and Honeymoon Destinations. Melinda has personally sailed on Carnival, Disney, Princess and Holland America Cruise Lines. Melinda is a Certified Specialist in the following areas:

Christina Willar

Owned by Lisa and Mike Modrick since 1993, Modrick's Travel has been serving travelers from all 50 states from their headquarters in Rapid City, South Dakota. Lisa and Mike have sailed on over 40 cruises, and personally escort cruise tours each year to destinations around the world, perfect for the first-time cruiser, or the experienced cruiser.

Lisa and Mike Modrick are the only Elite Cruise Counselors in western South Dakota, and all our Travel Counselors are Accredited Cruise Counselors. The Cruise Counselor program is a two to four year training program with CLIA, the Cruise Lines International Association.
